"Miss ko ang lechon kawali, hamon, grapes, Christmas tree at siyempre ang mga gifts under the tree. Miss ko rin when our family stays up late on the 24th to eat and eat and chat and have fun together coz now we have our own respective families and my dad has gone to heaven. I still haven't tasted what it is like having snow outside but i am hoping I will be able to someday. christmas doesn't seem to have the same cheer it has always had, for me, at least. Mahal na kasi ang mga bilihin. Mahirap mag-over spend then i'm left worrying the rest of the days before the next payday. Anyway, it's a time to celebrate Jesus' birth although there has been a lot of controversy whether or not it was really Dec. 25. well, what matters is that He came to save us. ako aroz caldo ang miss ko pag pasko, at syempre wala ng tatalo pa sa
kumbinasyon ng dinuguan at puto!!!!samahan mo pa ng pandesillos at angko!
Ang mainit na tsokolate pagka tapos ng simbang gabi, sasawsawan mo ng
mainit na pandesal ng sanitary bakery.
Iba talaga ang pasko ng pinoy, nakaka miss na rin ang balot at penoy. kaya
nasaang sulok ka man ng mundo,pasko pa rin sa pinas ang iniisip mo.

I think the question should have been 'What is the blessing of my being
abroad?". The question of what I miss sa paskong Pilipino is very negative
and demoralizing, especially to those alone in a foreign country. We are
here abroad because we want to and now we are sort of complaining of
missing something in the Philippines. Lets count our blessing of not being
affected by Mayon Volcano , or Typhoon Durian , or brown outs, traffic
congestions in Manila, etc.
yung video clip grabe namiss ko tuloy lalo ang pinas....... ...all of it
the tradtions, the carols of little children and the adults yung mga
decorations yung mga nightout happenings with the barkada and the family
reunions lalo lang tuloy akong nalungkot ............ .anyway salamat for

My Titas from Europe liked it who happen to be teachers too. Thank you for
the video clip. Kakamiss talaga ang christmas sa Pilipinas. Were trying to
duplicate it here but nothing beats the real thing.

public school teacher. =) teaching is truly a noble profession.
khun kru means teacher in Thailand.I missed christmas in pinas talaga.I've
been here in Thailand for quite a long time teaching English to executives.
Challenging...
They asked me once why I'm here away from my family.I gave
them a sweet smile and said because of my family.This is my 2nd year
spending christmas away from my loved ones.
At syempre andyan ang iyakan,kasi nga na mi-miss lahat.
Here they dont celebrate christmas, but they observed New Year.In
fairness,friendly ang mga Thais.Pero iba talaga ang celebration sa atin pag
pasko.I should say, there's no place like home.
